I moved here for the fun in the sun. I never left.

More than 25 years ago, I moved from Connecticut to Florida for the beaches, the theme parks and the feeling that vacation was always one decision away. Most people save all year to visit Florida. I chose to live here.

On any day I’m not working, you’ll find me doing exactly what visitors do—a different beach, a new restaurant or another spin through the parks, usually with family or friends in tow. I call it pretending I’m on vacation. It’s my favorite hobby, and sharing it is the best part.

Ask anyone who’s been to one of my parties and they’ll tell you: I’m the host who notices the empty glass before you do—not because it’s my job, but because I genuinely love watching people enjoy themselves. Anticipating what guests need before they ask? Turns out that instinct makes for unforgettable hospitality.

The operator behind the magic

For most of my career, I was an early employee at entrepreneurial companies, building operations from scratch: the onboarding templates, systems and training that taught people how to run things right. That included work in real estate and live event operations — building the training and systems behind the scenes (never as an agent or broker — as the person who made the machine run). A few years of travel only deepened my fascination with what makes a stay unforgettable.

Floridian Signature is both halves of me: the woman who chases the wow factor and the operator who builds the machine that delivers it reliably. Fantasy on the surface. Systems underneath.
